Not a gargantuan post this time since there were lots of days of plain old sanding. But some good shots of the real knockout wood that has been revealed by the stain and lacquer. Intense!!!  Another huge week of progress on all the spring archtop guitars. Man its getting good! Assembly is complete and when the first wash coats of stain and sealer hits the wood its definitely a cool moment. There were some oohs and ahhs all around with this run. Nice big and bouncing round tone that you only can get out of the large boxes. Super fun to play!! Great sounding Euro tonewoods with a classic violin burst. FUN!!! |
