Photo Finals! Model 14 archtop guitar for Robert Chen!

Here’s another Model 14 from the spring batch of guitars. This one is going to my client Robert and is a semi hollow with a small inner block. Very similar to the full hollow version I did at the same time for Martin Snow. I dig the satin finishes with the violin brown stain, looks like an old double bass or something. Very earthy. This guitar has plenty of acoustic vibe since the majority of the inside is still hollow, but the mini block helps with feedback.

This one has a Gibson scale length which is a bit of a departure from my normal 25″. I didnt notice much of a difference other than the strings are a bit looser feeling maybe? Not a major thing for sure.
