My other guitars in progress are in Patrick’s hands at the moment for clear coats, he’s doing great-they are turning out fantastic (see below). So in the interim i put some time in on the roughing work on my next guitars. Some interesting stuff here- A thinline model 15 for Donato Soviero, a Model 16 for Ofer Shalmon and a BIG model 18 Super 400 size guitar for Jonathan Slone. Ive been working on a lot of smaller 14″ guitars recently so doing a monster 18″ guitar is a real change of pace and super fun. Donato’s guitar will have an earthy finish like my other projects. Ofer’s will have an amber burst and the big 18 will have a decked out D’Angelico vibe. All great looking european cello woods throughout, the 16 and 18 will have full maple binding. Smokin!! Can NOT wait to play em.
