Model 15 semi hollow archtop for Einar Grønbekk- Almost done!!

Ive been working on a guitar for my client Einar in Norway. He wanted a combination of features from my past guitars, and it has turned out great. This series of pics shows some of the build process, staining work , matte finishing as well as plenty o bench shots during setup. It has a floating center block, my high access neck joint and an overall thin 1-3/4 body depth. Super comfy with some surprising volume and projection for this type of guitar! I like the sound of the tunomatic bridge. I’m going to be doing a lot of playing on it this week, making adjustments and tweaking its performance. I’m HOPING to get it into a playing situation later in the week too!

The flame maple on this one is OFF THE HOOK. A lot of people have been into the semi gloss matte finish lately, and the double stain job and brown sunbursting keep the wood popping out. Very natural feeling and silky look. Very low maintenance finish as well.
