Underway! Fall projects have begun and the blog is fired up again!

Gettin started on a few guitars for my clients Noah M, Noah P, and Jon. Trying to keep my Noah’s straight haha!! These guitars will be two 15″ guitars and a 14″ laminate. They all have customized specs and alterations that the guys picked out. Its going to be a blast getting these 3 together! Heres some various roughing stages shown- splitting rough spruce wedges for soundboards, picking out the ones i like, rough machining, some side bending etc etc! One of the guitars has a mahogany back, and i found a cool super wide piece that is plenty wide enough to do a one pc back. I just HAD to use it. The spruce i picked out is really interesting as far as figure. I bought it from a dude who salvages blow downs in alaska. Its great sounding wood that has been sitting in the forest for who knows how long, and the interesting grain patterns have an incredible look when i do my stains!

Stay tuned more pics coming!
