Here’s a guitar that is an “extra” project thats been around the shop. I have a new assistant (his name is Patrick- introduction coming soon), and I’m showing him the ropes on a bunch of things. We need stuff for him to work on, so i decided to put a 335 style guitar through the build cycle here to have a guinea pig of sorts. I also wanted to try out a chambered Red Cedar body, as well as try putting some quilted mahogany veneer i bought on a carved spruce top face. The guitar turned out fantastic! This is Patricks first polishing job on a guitar and its sweet. There are a few little improvements to be made of course, but overall a solid “A”. Wish my first polish job looked this pro!
