No 250 for Ernie Burkhardt is underway! I changed the headstock theme to a Jean Larrivee inspired one, using a combination of materials. A couple late nights in design time and i was ready to cut out all the pieces and put it all together. Talk about FUN!
First pics are the latest schematics for the project, then all the various steps in putting together the headstock face. The materials are flame koa, flame maple, gold pearl, white pearl and ivory for the face (obtained from a piano restoration- thats the real deal!).
