As i mentioned in my previous post, I’ve had a ton of requests for an affordable laminate archtop over the years, so this month i decided to execute some ideas that i’ve had brewing in order to offer a great sounding laminate that is affordable. This is a hollow model, no center block, and features custom tailored and braced lightweight laminated plates done here in house. Im proud to introduce this model at a base price of UNDER $4k! Here is an iphone phone video of me in the shop doing a test drive. (dont mind my playing i havent practiced in weeks haha!). I am playing through an OLD polytone no reverb with the neck pickup on, full volume with tone rolled off to 50%. Strings are Ernie Ball 12 gauge (would sound even bigger with my personal beefy favorite 14-54’s).
