Here’s a cool guitar that I am excited about! My client Brian commissioned me to make a Les Paul size guitar (pics of that soon- its awesome!). The spalted maple I ordered came in a huge huge piece so I immediately decided to make an extra guitar from it. And here it is! It has a chambered swamp ash body core, honduras mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and a matching spalt headstock face. Sounds and plays great- this guitar would be killer for a player who goes for several sounds or that plays some crossover styles. It can cover a jazz tone very convincingly and has plenty of options for other sounds. Pickups are matched Dimarzio PAF 36th anniversary models. Super nice PAF reproduction. It also has Gotoh 510 tuners (21:1 ratio!) and a tone pros tuno bridge. Weighs 6 lb 13oz nice and light
Here’s some sounds of me practicing at home with it over a new tune i wrote. I’m using a cheap Fender Deluxe 90 solid state amp with a little reverb from my zoom G2-1Nu.
