BIG fat shipment of beautiful spruce for archtop guitars

Here’s a quick post showing a bunch of great spruce sets I got from Brent at Alaska Specialty Woods. Some true clean master grade sets , some heavy bearclaw sets, as well as an assortment of some figured “funkier” sets that he knows I like getting for my semi hollow cores. These wider grain funky sets are a key factor in how i get some really killer looks in my stain jobs. Plus they are wider grain with less hard winter lines and sound great in that role due to the lower density.
