Model 14 Chambered Semi Hollow Guitars

The semi hollow guitars I offer use chambered bodies to drastically reduce weight of the instrument sometimes as much as 50%. They are very resonant, with better sustain and archtop like tone than if the body was left solid. The body is made of two parts, the soundboard and rear core. The soundboard is the same carved spruce design as the full depth hollow Model 14. The core starts as an electric guitar blank (mahogany, spruce or pine), and is extensively hollowed out to create large air chambers on the inside.

Try a spruce top / spruce core guitar if you want lightweight portability, but with a near indistinguishable archtop sound through the amp!
